At the union office:
  • The office will be open Tuesdays from 11:30 to 1 the following hours for merch pick up.

T-shirts

If you have an upcoming holiday faculty party, consider wearing your CUPEU t-shirt or buttons and show your solidarity!

Removable Stickers on Campus

Many members have asked if we are allowed to post stickers and the simple answer is YES!

However, we encourage members to consider who is present when applying stickers. You may use them in your personal office and in general areas on campus. Our aim is to have our collective voices heard regarding the desire for a stronger work life balance; we do not wish to create tension or otherwise harm professional relationships.

Remember there are two types of stickers: removable for smooth surfaces and permanent ones that will not come off and are better used for t-shirts or personal items. Please exclusively use the REMOVABLE stickers on campus infrastructure.

N.B. Remember to take photos and send them to the mobilization team!

Zoom/Teams Backgrounds

Zoom/Teams background and the Signature materials are available for download on the CUPEU website. You may use these during external and internal meetings and it is always recommended to use your best judgement.

Hybrid Work Statistics

At the AGM, Negotiations presented a slide show with ‘Flex Work’ statistics that we invite the membership to consult:

Work from home vs Sick days

If you are sick, please treat it as a normal sick day and not a work from home day. You are not required to attend virtual meetings while you are sick and doing so sets a bad precedent. Sick days are for recuperation, not just saving your colleagues from potential contagions.

Best regards,
Alycia Manning and the Mobilization Committee
