Summer Social

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the CUPEU Summer Social event. This year the event will be at the Terrasse Nacarat on the 3rd floor of the Queen Elizabeth Hotel. We will serve the summer classics: Burgers 🍔, Sausages 🌭 and their Veggie 🥕 counterparts along with the necessary toppings and some delicious side dishes. (Full menu below). All attendees will receive two (2) drink tickets for the event. Please RSVP early to insure your spot at this year's summer social event.
IMPORTANT: All ingredients will be itemized and you will be able to manage your dietary restrictions and/or allergies.

N.B. - Starting with this event. CUPEU will be implementing the “No Show Policy”
|
CUPEU would like to raise awareness to the financial impact when a member is a “No Show” to an event. When organizing a large scale event, we must confirm the number of attendees, the food and beverage quantities, and other items weeks prior to the event. As there is are significant costs associated with this, CUPEU would like to ensure that every seat is filled. When a member does not attend and does so without notice, CUPEU still pays for that meal.

Therefore, starting with this event, when a member submits an RSVP to an event but is a No Show without sending regrets, the member will automatically be placed at the end of the waitlist for the following event to which they register. The member will be advised in writing that this will be the case for the next event. The waitlist process will only be applied to the following event to which the member registers. Repeat offenders will continue to receive this penalty.
