2. CA extension presentation – Negotiations Committee

CUPEU's current contract ends on May 31, 2021. Recently, the University is offering to extend the current terms of the Collective Agreement to May 31, 2023.
|
- Members will benefit from a 2.6% salary increase on June 1, 2021 and a 2.4% increase on June 1, 2022. Here's what that looks like for the average CUPEU annual salary (grade 12, level 10):
- 2020: $86,940.11
- June 1, 2021: $89,200.55
- June 1, 2022: $91,341.37
- Certain issues can be resolved with a letter of agreement between the Union and the University.
- Negotiations for the next contract will begin in Spring 2023.

The Voting Process
At the meeting, around the time the motion is made to put the university's offer to vote, an email notification from CUPEU (using the address "vote@simplyvoting.com") with directions on how to cast your vote will be sent to your Concordia email address. Only members confirmed in good standing who RSVP'd, are in attendance and have identified themselves properly will receive this information.

Due to university firewall limits, our ability to send mass email notifications is restricted. You, more than likely, will receive your ballot a few minutes or hours after the meeting. We expect this. If you don't receive your email notification by 9 a.m. the next day (February 19, 2021), email cupeu@concordia.ca (Subject: Online ballot) right away. We will close access to voting at 3 p.m. to accommodate any possible delays.
