Negotiation Update
|
|
Following intense negotiations on Friday and over the weekend, we are now at a point to present you with an update on negotiations.
|
Unfortunately, we do not have a tentative agreement but, we have a global offer from the employer that we would like the membership to vote on.
|
|
|
A special general assembly is being called for Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 1:00-4:00. The University is aware of this meeting and is providing all CUPEU members with sufficient release (paid) time in order to attend this meeting, including commute time for members who work at the Loyola campus.
|
This means that the strike for Tuesday, September 3rd is suspended pending the outcome of the vote. This also means that Tuesday you are expected to be at work and that this will be a regular paid working day.

Another email will be sent later today regarding the meeting location.
