Negotiations IV: A New Hope
|
|
|
As soon as the press got wind of our Strike Action due to start in the first week of September, the University rushed to contact our union president, Shoshana Kalfon, in a last minute bid to avoid the strike. After several informal discussions, the employer finally agreed to return to the negotiating table on Friday August 30th to discuss our demands. There is now some hope that the negotiations team can close the gap this weekend.

We will keep you up to date on how negotiations progress and a final notice will go out late Monday or early Tuesday with regards to whether a tentative deal has been reached or if we will meet next on the picket line. Don't forget to check your personal email inbox for updates.
