Following the presentation of the Agreement in Principle, at the ratification assembly, I would like to announce the following:

The agreement in principle was voted in: 91% (419) for & 9% (40) against.
|
Some points of information:
|
- For those of you who were on vacation during the strike period, you will receive an email shortly with information regarding the two choices that you have, as per the Return-to-Work protocol. Please look out for this email and reply as soon as you can.
- For those of you who could not attend the Ratification Assembly, but who picketed, and are owed a CSN check, we will send out information shortly to retrieve your check.
- As a reminder, CUPEU hopes to mail out their checks by Tuesday, September 24th. Based on CSN’s regulations, as we did not picket three days in week two, they will not issue their part of the strike pay. CUPEU, however, will issue strike pay for this two-day strike in the second week, that will cover the full amount (both the CSN & Cupeu’ amounts) for Wednesday, September 11th and Thursday, September 12th.
Again, I would like to thank everyone in the membership, those who picketed, those who supported and those who volunteered to manage this huge mobilization activity.
