Negotiation Update
CUPEU members have made it clear that hybrid / flexible work arrangements are a priority. As such, the negotiation committee has been adamant about including appropriate language in our next Collective Agreement. Unfortunately, the University has refused to even discuss the topic and so it is time to show them that we mean business.

Let’s show the University just how much this means to us!

Email Campaign
- Members who are not satisfied with their current hybrid work arrangement should submit a request to increase their number of off-campus days.
- Members who are satisfied with their current hybrid work arrangement should show their manager appreciation for the productivity boosting and work-life balance improving hybrid work arrangement they currently enjoy. We should also note that we absolutely expect to continue enjoying these benefits.
We are providing two email templates, available here and linked at the bottom of this email, to facilitate the process:

- Simply copy the text from the appropriate template and paste it into a new email message.
- Fill in the placeholders and personalize the email.
- Add your direct supervisor as a recipient and make sure to CC the Union email address: cupeu@concordia.ca
- Hit ‘Send’!
