Concordia Shuffle: Join Team "True and Fair Hybrid Works!"

Summer is winding down and the Concordia Shuffle is right around the corner. CUPEU members have created a shuffle team, True and Fair Hybrid Works!, that we hope you’ll join.

Why a Shuffle team?

Starting August 14th, many CUPEU members face a return to 4 days in the office per week.
The faculty Deans and VPRGS made this decision despite Future Concordia recommending the university adapt a flexible hybrid work model.

A 2021 StatsCan survey showed 80% of respondents prefer working 2 or more days remotely in a post COVID-19 context and happier employees are more productive.

Our team "True and Fair Hybrid Works!" shows the university administration that:

We don’t believe 4 days in the office is a true and fair hybrid model for everyone.

We will be pushing for a true hybrid model in the current round of negotiations.

We care deeply about our students and want to support them.

The top fundraising team gets public praise at the end of the Shuffle. It would be fantastic to hear them declare "True and Fair Hybrid Works!" as the top fundraising team. Please help us make this happen by joining and donating to our team to show solidarity while supporting our students.
