Bonus PD Round Deadline
Tomorrow is the last day to submit applications to the Professional Development fund bonus round. No entries will be accepted after 5 p.m. (this is firm).

We encourage eligible members to take this opportunity to apply. This is your chance to use up to $4,757.10 to develop your professional skills. Here's a quick list of what members have been approved for:

- online conferences / workshops / courses
- books / magazine subscriptions / software
- membership / association dues
In light of COVID-19, note that:
|
- the Professional Development Committee will adhere to the university's position on work-related travel for staff.
- the fund does not cover equipment-related expenses, per article 10.12.b. If you are in need of office equipment to optimize your work-from-home situation, this is a matter to discuss your supervisor.

Please note that applicants who have already received funding in this fiscal year (May 2020 –April 2021) cannot apply again.

"A Day in the Life of a CUPEUer" Photo Contest
A few newsletters ago, we asked CUPEUers to submit photos of what their lockdown life's been like for a chance to win one of two $50 Visa gift cards. Thank you to those who submitted images and shared a little slice of their life.
