Mobilization - Update

No doubt you will have received your new mobilization materials; the CUPEU IQ # 2 flyer and the “Pay Equity” Poster. You will also receive a new CUPEU button at the BBQ, Wednesday, August 25th. We’d like to underscore the importance of making these materials visually prominent. We need to make a strong statement to the university that we collectively support our negotiations team. The demands that we are bringing to the table are about our recognition as professionals and our right to have equity with professionals in other Quebec universities.
To be sure, the messages we are sending out are getting stronger. They need to be if we are to be taken seriously. If you have concerns about this or the potential implications for you in your showing support, please feel free to post a message on CUPEUTalk for your colleagues to respond to, or contact your Union Council representative.
